Tested on an Audi Concert II (serial AUZ5Z6..., Matsushita, part 4B0 035 186 R) out of a 2004 TT. It uses a Seiko S-29330 EEPROM, marked S330. Other Matsushita units (Concert AUZ5Z3, Symphony II AUZ5Z4) should be similar but I haven't had one to check. Blaupunkt, Grundig and TechniSat radios store the code somewhere else, so they won't work here.
AUZ).S330 on the main board. This is the procedure Audi customer care sends out.
SAFE, hold the two buttons for your radio from the table below for 5 to 10 seconds until it shows 1000, then let go. If it stays on SAFE, leave the ignition and radio on for 30 to 60 minutes until 1000 comes up.Wrong codes lock it out for an hour, and the radio and ignition have to stay on for the whole hour.
Used to get from SAFE to 1000, and again to confirm the code.

The code finder above only reads Matsushita dumps (Concert II and similar). The button table works for any of these radios once you have the code.
For radios you own. This tool reads a value from your own dump, it doesn't calculate codes from serial numbers.
